New Year’s Eve Celebrations: Quarantine Edition

Ringing in 2021 will look a lot different this year. There won’t be a massive crowd in Times Square, and kissing a stranger at midnight isn’t very likely either. However, just because we can’t celebrate traditionally, doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate at all. 2020 was a tough year and the world deserves to welcome the new year with a brand-new perspective!

We found a great article to share on 15 Quarantine New Year’s Eve Ideas to Ring in 2021! Here are a few favorite suggestions.

  • Decorate for 2021—Even without anyone coming over, decorating in glitter and gold helps welcome the transition of the new year!
  • Make a festive dinner—Whether you are by yourself, with immediate family, or just the fur babies, you can still feel fancy with a delicious dinner.
  • Throw a Virtual Party—Get dressed up, pour your favorite drink, and hoot ’n holler with friends at midnight over video chat!
  • Watch the Ball Drop—Just because Time Square is empty, doesn’t mean the ball won’t drop. Turn on your local channel, pour some champagne (or sparkling cider) and cheers to the New Year from the comfort of your couch.

Our favorite New Year’s Eve idea is to call up your loved ones and wish them a Happy New Year. You can tell them what you hope they accomplish in 2021 or ask them if they have any resolutions. 2021 has a lot of promise, and we can only get there together.

Happy New Year!
