A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.

Kindness is contagious and doesn’t cost a thing.

Kindness is an investment. Good karma is the return.

Money makes you rich. Kindness makes you great.

No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

Kindness is loving people more than they deserve.

Choose kindness…It matters.

Do good. Be great. Believe there is good in the world.

Be kind to others. Your random act of kindness might become someone’s best lifetime memory.

Sometimes, a single random act of kindness can become the spark that ignites a revolution.

Be nice to people. Sometimes, a smile is all it takes to start a chain of kindness.

Be kind to others without expecting anything in return. Karma is keeping a tab.

Kindness may be blind but it is the most eye-opening feeling one can get. Thanks for being kind.

It’s Beginning to Look A lot Like “Fitmas”

We’ve all heard of the 12 Days of Christmas, the 8 Days of Hanukah, and the 7 Days of Kwanza, but have you heard of the 12 Days of Fitness? Yeah, us either… but after looking into it, we found that this is a great way to get a few extra steps in after all those holiday sweets.

Here’s the breakdown: One full set involves an exercise with reps counting down from 12, 8, or 7 (depending on your preferred holiday celebration). A lot of these workouts don’t even require any equipment! For more inspiration, search for the “12 Days of Fitmas” on Pinterest.

Here is an example using 12. You can do 1 set or repeat 2-4 times, just make sure to listen to your body!

12 Alternating Lunges

11 Sumo Squats

10 Ice Skaters

9 Jumping Jacks

8 Bicycle Crunches

7 Shoulder Taps

6 Push Ups

5 Burpees

4 Chair Dips

3 Minute Jog

2 Minute Wall Sit

1 Minute Plank

Of course, if you would prefer to drink hot cocoa and bake more cookies instead, we don’t blame you.

Happy Holidays!
