Isabella Marin is determined to make her community a better place for those who live there. At just 18 years old, she has served as President of the Peer Leadership Group at Portsmouth High School for three years. She also serves on the Salvation Army Executive Board and manages the basketball team at her school. Isabella has taken initiative in starting new activities and organizations at her school including a “Lunch Buddies” program that promotes new friendships by pairing students together for lunch dates. She has also started several fundraisers for school groups as well as community organizations.
“Isabella always goes above and beyond to help others and her commitment is unwavering,” said one of Isabella’s teachers. “She is a great example of someone who is selfless and always wants what is best for those around her. She has been a fantastic leader and is very well respected amongst her peers as well as adults.”
For her dedication to her community, Isabella was chosen as a 2019 Northeast Credit Union Nice Catch winner. We support Isabella’s love of philanthropy and generosity towards her community!
