Stories like these can brighten a day and even inspire others to join in spreading smiles and warming hearts. We invite you to share your kindness story to do just that!
Spreading kindness is nothing new for Grace, she’s always been a very giving young girl. Each day during December, Grace chooses a random act of kindness (RAK) written out of a little purse that her grandmother sewed for her and performs that action for that day. Some of Grace’s favorite RAKs during Christmas are: feeding horses carrots and peppermints, leaving quarters on the vending machines at the grocery store for other parents and children to receive prizes, hide dollars at the Dollar Store as a surprise while someone is shopping.
Another RAK that Grace does on a yearly basis is putting together bathroom baskets for the staff at her school. Often, teachers are quickly running in to use the restroom in between classes, so Grace puts a basket of toiletries for her teachers to use. Some of her favorite items to include are mints, gum, flossers, and fun Band-Aids. We are proud of Grace for thinking of these acts of kindness for others.
